			The House can securely accommodate up to 55 children plus staff. Most areas of the house and grounds are used for teaching. Inside, there are large comfortable rooms where such sessions take place. We take care with the decor and furnishings in order to retain the ambience of a fine home, whilst still offering a practical, child-friendly and stimulating environment.
	The bedrooms range from twin-bedded rooms to larger dormitories, with bed linen provided and all with access to toilets and showers. Most of the children's rooms contain bunks and one or two single beds and they remain cosy and comfortable at all times of year. The staff bedrooms, close to the children (but not too close!),have tea and coffee making facilities, and there are separate staff washroom facilities.
		In addition to the comfortable lounge there is also a fully equipped TV Studio, Craft Studio and Darkroom. We are planning to develop a more classroom-like area in the near future, to give groups a wider range of teaching options. Outside, the self-contained grounds of Burwell House are used extensively during a residential course and provide an exciting and safe environment for children to explore. Our 3 acre site has a selection of magnificent trees, various areas of lawn, a sunken garden with pond and an orchard.
