Burwell House is proud of the service it offers to our day meeting and conference clients. The care we take to ensure a successful conference has been rewarded with a very loyal clientele. We pride ourselves on a providing a homely, welcoming environment with a personal touch.

Being a popular venue for school groups lends an informal and friendly atmosphere in which all visitors feel at home. We have a number of different meeting rooms and their capacity depends on the room set up. Please see below for details.

Rooms and packages

We have two rooms commonly used for conference groups, each with their own character and a fantastic outlook onto our leafy garden.

Meetings can be booked for whole day, half day or twilight sessions and we are happy to provide whatever room set up required.

Included in the price of the room hire is access to a variety of AV equipment including wifi or wired internet access, TV and DVD, flipchart, OHP and multimedia projector.

There is also access to office facilities, such as a photocopier, with additional charges incurred where appropriate.

In addition on occasions when residential visitors aren't using the premises (some Friday afternoons, non-term time days & very occasional term-time days, our main lounge is available as a meeting room. This is a far larger and grander room, with a far greater capacity. Please contact us for details

Catering and hospitality

Our catering and hospitality have a very good reputation and we can offer a variety of options for your conference, to suit your requirements.

We can provide meals at any time you wish - including breakfast if required. Our meals are home cooked by our fantastic catering team and served with a smile.

Meals can be provided as part of the overall course cost or, if necessary, we can offer a small canteen style menu for delegates to order from at the start of the day and pay for themselves.

Refreshments can also be provided, at times to suit, including our fabulous home-made cakes and biscuits.
