From music and drama to first-aid, religious retreat to arts and crafts, we believe we provide an ideal venue to host your youth group’s course. Your group will have sole residntial use of our Centre, with support from our fantastic staff team. Should you wish, we can occasionally provide a small range of activities suitable for youth groups too. These might include teamwork, problem solving or film making, and could be self-led or led by a member of our teaching team.
Downstairs there are 2 lounges and one ‘classroom’ – each suitable as social spaces, meeting rooms, rehearsal rooms or other activity space. There are also a number of ‘satellite’ buildings, including a craft studio.
The house has up to 62 beds in 11 rooms – normally used as 4 leaders rooms (for space for up to 9 leaders if required) and 7 participants rooms (with space for up to 53). In addition, one of our downstairs reception rooms can be converted to a downstairs bedroom for up to 6 if required – particularly useful for any participants with mobility issues for who the stairs might be difficult. On occasion groups have supplemented the sleeping facilities by having course participants camp or caravan in the garden. Please call us if this is something you’re interested in.
We can provide a fully catered course, providing home cooked meals for your group. Our food has a fantastic reputation and we are happy to discuss with you the types of food you might wish to have during your stay with us. Alternatively, if you would prefer, self catering is also possible – with full access to our professionally equipped kitchen. For details on this self catering option – please click here.
The Centre is open 7 days a week; 48 weeks of the year and welcomes groups both mid-week and at weekends. Calendars are always open for the two academic years ahead of the current year. Prices vary depending on the number of participants on the course, with a full schedule available below.
There will need completing and returning to us 2 weeks before your course.
