Youth and Community Groups


Burwell House has been hosting residential courses for all kinds of youth and community groups since it first opened to the public. From music and drama to first-aid, religious retreat to arts and crafts, we believe we provide an ideal venue for your course.

We can offer either a fully catered course, providing home cooked meals for your group, or if you would prefer, self catering is also possible - where you will have full access to our professionally equipped kitchen.

We offer a very flexible service and can either act as a venue for your own course, or, should you wish, can run a range of activities suitable for youth groups.  These could include teamwork, problem solving and video making, and could be self-led or led by a member of our teaching team (your course price will include 1 x 3hour led teaching session and further sessions may be purchased).

The Centre is open 7 days a week 48 weeks of the year and welcomes groups both mid-week and at weekends.  There is a very supportive backup system should you require any assistance during the course.

Catered prices Sept 2011 - August 2012

These prices are for a weekend, from Friday 5pm until Sunday 5pm.  Other timings are available on request and would be charged at different rates accordingly.

Prices are per 24 hour stay and include full, sole group access to the house and grounds.  All bedding is provided.
